    Hi,

Since the last update of the plugin, I have a message in WordPress saying that the 3D secure parameter is not available anymore and is replaced by Stripe Radar.
How can I now enable Stripe Radar/3D Secure in the plugin?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Howdy!

    Thanks for reaching out.

The great news is that there’s no setup required to use Stripe Radar. If you’ve updated to Stripe 4.2.0, it’s already included (which is also why we added the notice). You can dismiss the memo if you’d like ??

Also, you can find information on the main Stripe product page and the Stripe Documentation regarding the updates in the latest 4.2.0 release and Stripe Radar.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

As per this update by @laceyrod , v4.2.0 doesn’t support Stripe Radar.

    Hi @galbaras,

Stripe Radar is supported, but the “New Checkout” that allows you to use chargeback protection service within Stripe Radar is not supported.

    Hope this helps to clarify!

I’m confused, especially after reading the other thread again.

    Hi @galbaras-

I definitely apologize for any confusion.

You’ll see from the Stripe changelog that when the 3D Secure settings were removed in 4.2.0, Stripe Radar was to take its place. Stripe Radar is supported by the plugin and there’s no setup required. However, there’s a specific feature within Stripe Radar, called chargeback protection service, and that requires an integration with Stripe’s new “Checkout” to utilize it. The WC Stripe plugin does not currently integrate with the new “Checkout”, and there’s no real ETA at the moment in terms of when we will integrate. From my understanding, however, Stripe plans to expand Chargeback Protection Service beyond the new checkout in the future.

    Hope this helps.

    Great. Not confused anymore ??

@fotske if you’re good too, please mark this thread as resolved.

    It’s ok for me. Thanks

    Hello,

I have used Stripe as payment gateway in woocommerce site. Before updating, it was working perfectly. But now after updating, it is displaying this message in backend “WooCommerce Stripe – We see that you had the “Require 3D secure when applicable” setting turned on. This setting is not available here anymore, because it is now replaced by Stripe Radar. You can learn more about it here.”

My customers are unable to make the payment. Kindly guide me ASAP.

    Thanks.

@megha2023 start a new thread. Your issue is new. In fact, it’s related to a different version of the plugin.

When you do, also be specific, e.g. are all your customers having a problem, have you opted into Radar on Stripe, and anything else that may help, like browser errors or messages in error_log.

The WP dashboard notice is not a problem. It’s just a prompt.
