How to Enable Soft Crop for Thumbnails

  • Good Day Everyone,

    I have spent the last 6 hours looking for a solution to my problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I am looking for s way to soft crop woocommerce_thumbnail & woocommerce_single images. Meaning, I wish to have all images on my catalog page and on my single product page to be uniform by resizing them, to scale not cropping, with max dimensions.

    Appearance -> Customize -> Woocommerce -> Product Images does not give me the softcrop option

    Simple Image Sizes Plug-In seems to be overridden when ever I use it

    Smart Image Resize for WooCommerce Plug-In was working for the 150 image trial. I am worried about buying the pro version due to the number of active installs. I feel like I am missing a simple solution or it would have more active installs.

    Please let me know what you think. I have a week experience with WordPress but I have a few years of experience with coding.
