    Howdy Hina,

This depends on the them. You might be able to get the sidebar working by using something other than the default template. If not, then your theme likely does not use WP Page Templates. IN that case you will need to create a theme override. Have a look at the Themer’s Guide. It walks you through modifying the PHP templates so you change the look, wording, and order of things.

Did one of those options work?

    Cheers!

I am working on client site and the right side bar was intact previously. After placing the html ads the right sidebar gone away and now only the full length page is there.

I tried the option to create ‘event’ folder within theme but it seems not working.

Let me know if you know something to find out details like to how to find the page template to resolve this issue.

Thanks for your time and reply!! I am so overwhelmed..

    Regards,
    Hina

    Hey Hina,

    Thanks for following up!

For clarification, it sounds like your layouts were working as your client would like prior to adding some html ads to the sidebar?

There potentially could be some open divs or other issues with the HTML code added for the ads which could be causing this issue. Try reviewing or removing those ads to see if that resolves the issue. If so, you might want to take a closer look at the ad codes to see if there are any markup issues there.

    Thanks!
    Josh
