How to enable event approval?

    I need a calendar where anonymous users can submit their own events, but I would like for admin to approve events before publishing. Right now, an anonymous user can submit their own event (perfect) but it gets automatically published. Can someone help me force the new events to be listed as “pending review”?

  • Hi,

    edit User Capabilities in events => Settings => General And make sure the checkbox “publish_events” is not checked for editor, author ect .. Except administrator

    I figured it out. I had anonymous users using the administrator ID as default. Duh.
