How to embed videos from Youtube

Hi all,
I’m trying to embed a video from Youtube in my blog.
Suggestion found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NopuJ_OYjsk (about desabling visual editor prior to adding the Youtube link) and here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/youtube-video-not-showing (about adding square brackets) don’t work for me and a couple plugins I thought of installing (embedded brackets and embedded video) come up with a warning that they haven’t been tested for the latest version of wordpress yet.

Could you please let me know what I need to do?
