How to embed the next upcoming event?

    I have a very simple requirement that I cannot seem to figure out. On our home page, I need to embed the contents of the NEXT UPCOMING event. Weirdly, the event calendar doesn’t seem to provide a way to do this. Will your plugin do it?
    To be clear, I need to embed all of the fields of the next event, and not just provide a link to it.
