How to embed form on newsletter signup page?

The documentation is very detailed and thorough, test messages went throughm, and I believe I’ve got just about everything set except for ONE critical detail…
How do I embed the signup/unsubscribe forms on our newsletter signup page in the first place? I can’t use the code if I can’t call it.
