how to eliminate white bars?

    I am modifying the free Arthemia theme for my blog and am having no luck getting rid of white bars on the left, right and top of my site.

    I cannot even change the color since it seems to be some uneditable margin space yet I can find no margin numbers that adjust this space without throwing other alignments way off.

    How can I alter these white spaces to either eliminate them or change there color and still keep my content centered or spread to full screen?

    Im desperate, please help
