• I’m a new user of WordPress and am making a few custom changes to the kubrick (default) template. I altered or deleted all the image files and every bit of code I could find to eliminate the large margin which is pushing my title text (but not a gif image) down more than 50 pixels. Nothing worked. What is creating the large margin?

If anyone wants to take a look to find an obvious problem, or to compare, the code (I know it’s old fashioned) at the top of my site’s static pages (e.g., https://www.MeaningAndHappiness.com) is identical to the code in the “header.php” file for the blog (still unlinked, but at https://www.MeaningAndHappiness.com/blog/). The header on the static pages is how I want it to look. On the blog page the title text (but not the gold circle) is being pushed way down. I can’t find anything on the css page or the header page which could be causing this.

Can someone identify the reason or even guess what might solve the problem? Thanks so much.
