how to edit this code to work on my site?

hi all!

I really like the idea of people being able to sign up by RSS or email and saw this great code on a template

1) can i edit it so i can get them to subscribe to my feed instead of the one in the code?
2) do i have to subscribe to feedburner?

the code is from a theme called pinkedge, is built and designed by wonder themes and is under GPL.
