• I just inherited this site and I need some help please.

On every page is a banner about half way down the page. It’s rotating several pics back and forth…pics of the vendors we support.

I need to edit this and for the life of me I can’t find it or find where to edit it. I believe its a jar, but I’m not sure. There are several references to a jcarousel in the code.

Can anyone tell me where I can edit this thing?

    Thank you

    Cliff

  • Hi there! ??

The first thing to do is check what Theme you are using (Appearance -> Themes) and see if it natively supports something like a rotating image gallery the second thing to do is check your Plugins (Plugins -> Installed Plugins) to see if it is a plugin that is adding that functionality.

Additionally, check your Admin menu to see if there are any options for such a feature.

Well, I think the theme supports it because it’s playing and live on the site.

I do not see a plugin that says or references anything about a rotating banner.

Under admin menu, i see no reference to it.

I can’t even find the html in the php pages.

    Hi there again!

Sorry to be late in getting back to you. Can you please link to the site (or link to a site that demos the theme you are using) so we can hopefully better troubleshoot where the rotating images are being inserted in?

    Thanks!

I am having the same problem and would like to remove the “site wide banner” from all my pages and only have it on the “Home” page.
This would help me and also help Cliff i think??
    Regards
