How to edit the Navigation Bar

    Hey all,
    I’m working on WordPress from +1 year so I can control all parts of my website easily with no troubles.

    There is only one part I couldn’t control yet.. I haven’t learned to control it 100% and I need your help.

    I’m talking about the Navigation Bar!

    When I chose a template, I take a look to the navigation bar before I install it on my website but when I install the template, the navigation bar doesn’t appear sometimes, and it sometimes appear with another colors and form/shape.

    Is there any way/plugin to Create a Navigation Bar with custom colors and font? I mean, I need a full control on the navigation bar.. I need to change everything!

    glad to hear you have good control over your website with no trouble…

    yes, the navigation bar content and design is customizable.
    there are several ways to make the changes.

    you can target CSS changes on a per menu item basis with CSS classes if you are using the custom menu in appearance area of dashboard

    otherwise, you can change the menu design as a whole with CSS classes.
    normally the PHP for menu is contained in the header file
    be mindful of any menu PHP targeted for smaller devices too

    if you have a child theme set up making CSS changes will be no problem.

    i can’t give more specific guidance without link to website and knowledge of theme you are using
