HOW to edit sidebar Login sentence " To start connecting please log in first "

  • I just want to edit the sentence “To start connecting please log in first.” sentence right on the top of the SIDEBAR login form.

    Which file should I edit?

  • It is not possible to answer this without looking at the code used. The code may be in your theme, or it may be in a plugin.

    If you are using a paid theme, you should contact the theme supplier.

    If you are using a free theme, post a link to your site and someone MAY be able to help.

    If you are using any plugins related to login, post the name of the plugin.

    ooh … I’m using WP3.3 + BuddyPress + Custom Community Theme

    That text is at line 128 in the file custom-community/core/includes/wp/widgets.php in your theme folder.

    You should be aware that any changes you make to that file will be lost if you ever upgrade to a newer version of custom-community.
