I’m editing my issue to detail my use case.

I have a group of blocks added into the reusable blocks.
I want to change one of the instances of the reusable blocks, so it becomes different from the other ones.

If i do “remove from reusable blocks” this deletes this instance but also the reusable blocks from all my website, and I don’t seem to be able to copy-paste the content of a reusable block. What happens then????

The reusable block is an extremely complex and large group of blocks… but if i want to do a variation of it i’m forced to redo it all by hand???

That’s an interesting use case for reusable blocks. The idea is true that they work across the board united, you can, of course, edit but they aren’t separate. To have a variation that detaches is an interesting concept. I am not sure though how many times you’d want to do this. Just thinking through it could be a case of ‘duplicate and detach’. That would copy everything and then ungroup.

Would that work for you? If so, I can see the use case and if you want to please make an enhancement here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new/choose, or I can if you would prefer.

“Duplicate and detach” is exactly the feature I was thinking about. It would solve my personal problem and, i think, allow a different way of using reusable block.

I will post in the issues later in the day.
    Thanks for the answer!
