How to edit meta_data on order admin page?

    Hi,

    I am wondering how I can edit the meta-data on the admin order page.

    I have added a custom field on billing for VAT. It’s a text field.

    Sometimes a client sends us their VAT number after the order has been created, but I don’t know how to add it to the order.

    Thank you very much for contacting me.

    Please scroll to the bottom of the order.
    There you will find the Flexible Checkout Fields.


    Please enter the appropriate value and save (update your order).
    The value will now already be visible in the order.

    Hi!

    Thank you for the swift reply.

    I do not have a box for “Flexible Checkout Fields”. I do have a box for “Custom Fields”, but that appears to be something else (it does not have the meta-data from FCF).

    I checked at the top of the screen under “Screen Options”, but it does not have an option for FCF.

    Then I tried with the Storefront theme, but I still don’t see FCF on the admin order page.

    Where else can I look?

    I am using the a Kadence child theme.

    I’ll admit frankly that I don’t know what this problem could be due to.
