How to edit language on form elements?

On the page where users enter their address details, I need to edit some of the text that shows up by default. Tese are ones that go inside the form elements.
I need to remove: “Apartment, suite, unit ect. (optional)”
and edit: “State / County” to “County”
and “Postcode / Zip” to “Postcode”What is the easiest way of doing this?
