Great plugin! Would love to use it, but one thing is bugging me:

Is there a way to manually edit the titles of items, either in the free or paid version? Or is there a way to automatically enforce typographical consistency across multiple sources?

I ask because there are inconsistencies from one source to another, and the resulting feed looks messy. For example, some sources capitalize each word in the titles of articles, whereas others only capitalize the first word. Most sources use straight quotes, which I would like to replace with curly quotes. Some feeds include HTML markup in article titles, which I would like to strip out. And so forth.

    Thanks!

  • @karlaberg with the Feed to Post add-on you can import the feed items as standard WP posts into your site. You will be able to edit any element of the posts, including the title.

Thanks. I don’t want them as posts, though (either on the front end, or on the back end). I would just be running them through the shortcode.

Hi @karlaberg without importing them as posts, there’s no option to adjust the title or the description.
