How to edit *.inc sidebar file in WP admin panel?

  • Is there any way to edit an *.inc file in the Edit Themes section of WP Admin?

    I ask because my blog has two sidebars – one uses the sidebar.php file and the other uses a *.inc file that’s called with: <?php include("filename.inc"); ?>. I set my blog up this way because I couldn’t figure out how to add a second sidebar.php file with <?php get_sidebar(); ?>.

    In an older version of WP I was able to edit the inc file by typing the path name out at the bottom of the admin panel, now it looks like only the core *.php files and the stylesheet can be edited. Am I wrong? Is there a way to edit the inc file inside WP admin?
