How to edit Home page

    Hi there, I’m a newbie I’m afraid and I’ve read several posts on here about the same problem. I’m using the free theme Parabola, and can’t seem to edit the home page content. In admin/reading, I’ve selected the front page to be static not a post, and I expected it to show up in the Pages section in my Admin panel so i could edit it, but it isn’t there.

    it’s ok, i found it under “Parabola Settings” in the admin panel. It was called Presentation Page

    I have this site with a custom blog roll on the home page done by someone else. I have tried several solutions posted here but cannot see where I can edit the page. I just need to put in a Webmaster Tools link to verify ownership in the <head>.
    Any ideas?
