    Hallo Marc,

I’m actually testing your plugin and it’s quite near to what I’m looking for. Maybe I will need some CSS to reduce left and bottom margins, but the most important thing for me is the automatic translation of the heading text. My site is de/en/it and I see that actually the following automatic titles are defined: Inhaltsverzeichnis / Table of Contents / Indice. Where can I change it? I would like to use Inhalt / Contents / Indice

My compliments for the plugin and thank you

    Bernhard

you can only override the title for all languages with a custom title in the block sidebar options. But this applies to all languages. If you want to use automatic translations you have to use the default ones since they have been translated by the community.

I don’t understand what is wrong with the defaults?

    Hi Marc,

that’s a pity. Overwriting the title manually is not very helpful for automating the processes. Your TOC plugin is one of the very few that are multi-language capable. Multilingual plugins such as Polylang or WPML offer translation strings in which you can retrieve the personalized translation. But of course I understand that this is a considerable effort for an open source plugin.

The texts are simply too long, Italian “Indice” fits, for English Wikipedia says “A table of contents, usually headed simply Contents” and in German In-halts-ver-zeich-nis enters the competition of the longest German words.

the plugin is fully localized via the www.remarpro.com website. You can override it I think. All strings are not hardcoded.
