How To Edit Header

  • I am brand-new to WordPress and am having issues editing my website header within the Engrave theme. I have researched several websites for instructions, but I can’t tell if instructions are dated or if I do not have the ability to edit the header. I do not see the option to select Customize > Header Image while editing my site. Is this the correct way to edit the header?
    Any help will be appreciated – thank you in advance!

    Additional Information: I do not see an ‘Appearance’ or ‘Plug In’ tab on my navigation pane. What does this mean?
