how to edit front page

    When I edit the front page in wpadmin, it has no effect whatsoever on the site. The site continues to show the default front page content???
    I do not have any caching plugins installed.
    I have checke dthe theme customiser ad plugin settings, but I cannot find any other place to edit what appears on the front page.

    Please text me how do I change the text and colours etc if editing the actual page has no effect?

    Hello @lordsnake,

    Are you using a pagebuilder? What theme are you using?
    It might be that you are using a pre set theme front page, when editing the front page you can try changing the page template in the page setting in the sidebar.

    I am using supreme directory
    everything is default, no builder
    the page is using the default geodirectory template
    changing the template does not help
