How to edit “Forum locked/closed and in read only mode” text?
-
I’m currently using an old forum as an archive, mainly for seo traffic. So I locked the entire thing for now.
After doing that a message is displayed at the top of the forum. I’m running a non-English install, so I don’t know the exact text. But I’m guessing it’s something along the lines of “The forums are closed/locked and currently in read only mode”.
I haven’t been able to find out where or how I can edit this message. Could anyone point me in the right direction in either the settings or which location and file to edit?
Thank you in advance!
Update:
For the more tech savvy this page might help: https://simple-press.com/documentation/codex/api/template-functions-and-the-api/display-template-functions/common-view/sp_forumlockdown/
I decided to hide the Simplepress lockdown message using:
#spForumLockdown {display: none; }
And adding my own message in a little styled box using the Ad Inserter plugin (or an Element Hook in Generatepress if you run that theme).
