how to edit featured.php or other php files in child theme

  • hi i wanna know how to safely customise other php files in hueman theme. already i have funcions.php but i wanna know to do this for other php files in child theme. any tutorial…..

  • What I do in my hosting is just go to the file in the main theme (we’ll use Hueman for example) and right click on what PHP file I want to edit and click ‘copy’.

    The select my child theme directory I want to copy that PHP file to and then done… just edit the PHP in your child theme.

    I do use Godaddy, not sure what hosting you use.
