    Hi there,

When I publish a new post, obviously an email with this info gets sent to all of my followers. Is there a way to edit those emails so it sends only what I would like it to send?
I would rather format it to be more of a preview of the post, so people will have to click through to my site to read the rest of the post.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Sam

This is not default WP behavior, so it is from a plugin or a plugin/option built into your theme. Once you discover which, you need to find and post in that support forum.

Are you talking about your RSS feed and the content it shows when you create a post? Or something like you are using Feedburner to manage your RSS feed and you are signed up to receive an email notification when you make a post?

You can set your RSS feed to only show a summary of your post’s content by logging into your WP admin area and going to Settings->Reading and selecting the Summary radio button and then saving.

Thank you! I don’t know how I didn’t figure this out. The only thing is now, with that email, there was a summary of text, but no picture. I would like it to include the feature picture as well.
    Any ideas?
