How to edit boldy theme?

Guess that isn’t possible without editing and testing a lot… couse its a build in theme option: https://wordpress.site5.net/boldy/doc/ and I see nothing to easily add more… try to ask the theme author :/

What about not adding those exact boxes, but just adding boxes in general? Like, just adding text boxes in general? How would I go about that?

There are many tutorials for how to add a widget area, but it might be hard if you are new an wordpress or php/css/html….
