How to edit background image to match demo?

Hi,
I’d like the background on my blog to match the background in the demo:

I have sourced the two images that clip on to the header and footer:
https://www.pinchofcraft.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/header-left-bg.png
https://www.pinchofcraft.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/footer-right-bg.pngI can see these attach via the pseudo element (: :before & : :after) but wouldn’t know how to code these into my html or CSS – some help please!
