How to Edit a Page Template

  • Hi, all.

    Quick question;

    How do I edit this specific page template? I am unable to find it through the WP dashboard or FTP Client.

    I’d like to add some moving images, similar to my other pages.

  • According to the body class, it’s just the default page template. You can use the Template Hierarchy to find which file is being used. It’s just a page, so follow “Singular Page” from the left of the graphic until you find a file that exists in your theme.

    Thanks for the response, Jacob.

    I’m a little new to this – I’ve followed the template, I have pages such as page.php, single.php – But they’re for different pages (Not to sure which directory within my theme, this particular page would be located in)

    But since your theme is a custom child theme it is not available for free download to see what template that is –

    I suggest asking the theme’s developer what template is being used. You can then either change or create a new page template for that page.
