• I must have missed this in setup somewhere…
    Blog is functional but if a user (Author) sumits a comment, he/she cannot edit or delete the comment once posted. Admin can edit or delete but the original user cannot…Did I set something wrong ?

  • No – you didn’t miss anything. That’s the way WP works. Only those with login access and suitable privileges can edit comments.

    Are you telling me that the person posting a comment CANNOT edit or delete the comment once posted ??

    What I meant to say was,…The original person, having a login account and properly logged in, cannot edit or delete their own comment ??

    They can if they have the appropriate privileges/role. I think that’s at least Editor level in the basic WP roles but, if you have a look at some of the role manage plugins, you may be able to assign comment editing privileges on a more ad hoc basis.
