How to dynamically change text color based on a background color

  • I have a full-width slider on my homepage that rotates images of my studio and artwork. I have a white background for the header along the top so the text is legible. I’d like the text to be right on top of the background images without the white background, but don’t know how to have text color change depending on what slide is behind it. I’ve seen this on a Squarespace site and on a WordPress theme or two. Is there a plugin that would do this or do I have to switch themes?
