Hi I’m working on the website lms.getcontrol.net which has the uncanny learndash plugins installed.
When I duplicate a quiz, it duplicates all the questions that go along with it. is there any way to stop that from happening? I’d like to just duplicate the quiz and reference the same questions. Thanks!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m afraid that is the expected behaviour and what users normally want. We unfortunately don’t have a way to duplicate the quiz post ONLY out of the box, but that should be possible with other post duplication plugins.

Thank you for your quick response! I now see how that would be expected behavior since the quiz questions are set up to be only assigned to one quiz. I wish Learn Dash had designed that differently – oh well..

Keep in mind LearnDash quiz questions weren’t originally reusable and distinct as they are now, and the original LD architecture (this is back before 2.0) was part of the reason this module was introduced–to provide an easy way to clone entire quizzes so they could be used in different contexts. We haven’t had requests for other behaviour (though I have noted yours for consideration) and other plugins that support simple post cloning may be able to fill some of this gap.
