How to duplicate logo on header

Hi. I need help duplicating a logo on the header area of a theme. I want to have a logo on the right and on the left. I’m trying different WordPress free templates, so I would like to know the general idea on how to do this. Should I change something or add a code in the header.php file or the stylesheet.css file? thanks!
