• Hello,
I am using WP for a participant-only program (teleseminars).
    It’s working great for that!
I will start another group and want to have them on their own WP member area with a duplicate WP blog.
I don’t need to have the posts duplicated, just the categories, format, look, “static” stuff.
I searched the forum and couldn’t find info, but it seems to me this should be easy.
My blogs were installed using the Godaddy “easy” method, so please offer suggestions that are equally tech-friendly.

    Thanks!
    FG

  • I’m attempting to do a similar process, yet, I need the posts and comments, in addition to the categories, format, look, the “static” stuff.

As FG says, I’m unable to find information on the forums to answer this question. Please help!!!

    Hello,

I have the same challenge, keep the “look and feel” of the first blog.

I have upgraded the old blog to the latest version and the new blog is also at the latest version. Is it as simple as just copying the three folders (admin, content, includes” from the old blog into the new one?

No need for that. The wp-admin, wp-includes are exactly the same on any WP installation in the world.

What is yours: the themes and the plugins in/under wp-content.

However, every setting is stored in the database, so copying the files doesn’t help.

    Thanks Moshu,

From my perspective, this stream can be closed.
