How to duplicate a custom field?

    I want to duplicate a custom field I created with built-in WordPress tools, but it’s not in a list of fields I can check to be duplicated. How do I add it by name? The field name is “custom_url”.

    Thank you for asking.

    By default, all meta keys should be duplicated, including the custom fields you added through the core WordPress feature. I just tested this locally and can confirm the content of the field was duplicated in a clone.

    If you want to exclude the field, there is an exclude input field under Settings → Duplicate Post
