I think you are talking about test-install.blindsidenetworks.com server. Yes, the recording will last only for few days as advised in the disclaimer.

And no, you cannot download recordings from the test-install server.

Also, as advised in the disclaimer, test install is not supposed to be used for production. If you had your own server or access to a hosted server you could be able to download and even to publish your recordings somewhere else.

How can I use bigbluebutton on my own server if it is possible? I have dedicated server. I saw the tutorial to use it on own server but it does not connect to my server.

Is there anyone who could do that? I have already webhosting service and I would not want to get another webhosting service to just use big blue button.

This way I could download all sessions and keep them on my site for long time.

So you need to install a BigBlueButton server. And in that case you need to do a lot of readings first. You might want to start looking at https://www.bigbluebutton.org or/and google a little bit your questions. Most of them have been responded already.

We (the Blindside Networks team) don’t recommend that. You should have BBB installed in a separated box. This is because “just using bbb” requires a lot of resources. The OS and dependencies for a BBB server are very specific. And the configuration you would need is quite complicated when running website and bbb in the same box.
