how to divide posts into 10 per page

im running the site locally.

Im not ready to upload it to my server yet.

I tried all three links from alchymyth.

I couldnt solve my problem. I typed in <?php next_posts_link(); ?>

but theres nothing show up

my code is the above. can anyone help me with the pagination?

change this line:
<?php query_posts( 'posts_per_page=10&paged='.get_query_var('paged') ) ; if (have_posts()):

and add the pagination functions between endif; and wp_reset_query();:

<?php endwhile;endif;
next_posts_link(); previous_posts_link(); wp_reset_query();?>
