    When going to the Dashboard > Subscribe2 I can see the other blogs that have this plugin enabled within our wordpress and am able to subscribe to them which causes me to be able to see all the content.

    I would like to disable this and block anyone from being able to subscribe to other blogs within our wordpress.

  • @alex,

    I’m guessing that you are using Multisite then. There currently isn’t a way to disable this. I’ll see if I can implement a way to hide it like I have with other elements of the admin interface in the next version.

    Okay; in that case I have two questions:

    1) Is it possible for someone outside the WordPress site to subscribe to the blog posts or is it still only available for members or the WordPress multisite?

    2) Is there a timeline for the next update?

    @alex,

    1) That depends on your Settings in WordPress. If you control the registration process then it is only possible for current members to access that area and subscribe across blogs. If membership is open then it is possible for someone outside to join and subscribe.

    2) Not really. Releases are driven by the amount of spare time I have and the relative severity of the fixes since the last release. I don’t work to a development cycle as this is a hobby for me.

    Alright sounds great; that is what I thought about the security side.

    Could you maybe point me in a direction as to which php page I could go in and remove the lines of code enabling this option for the time being?

    @alex,

    You need to look at the admin/your_subscriptions.php file and remove or comment out the if statement that starts around line 182.
