    Hello, I use WordPress 3.6.1.

Under Settings/General, I have enabled the option
    Membership – Anyone can register
and defined Subscriber as New User Default Role.

But when I test commenting a post, there is no checkbox (during or after commenting) that would allow a reader to actually subscribe so they don’t need to enter their details when commenting again in the future.

Do I do something wrong? Or if not, how (where) can an user register to use the “Subscriber” role? (Maybe I removed/disabled something long time ago, I don’t recall now.)

    Thank you.

  • If i understood your question well, you want to enable users to register and login into your website. To do this, go to your admin panel and from Appearance section, click on Widgets and then add Meta widget to your sidebar. It enables users to login and register in your website.
