How to display pictures beside the excerpts

  • I am trying to change my layout and make my homepage display excerpts of all of my posts. However, I also want a picture displayed with each excerpt. How do I get this done?

  • If you go to Appearance → Theme Options and set the layout for the Home Page to Excerpts only, then all you need to do is set a Featured Image when you create your post. Then the featured image should show up as a thumbnail next to your post titles.
