How to display one category of a custom post type using shortcode

  • I am using the Hercules theme which uses shortcode extensively to lay out pages and uses custom post types to define portfolio, slider, testimonials, and services. On https://www.thehotboxgallery.com I’m trying to list only the portfolio custom post types with the category of content strategy on the content strategy page (https://thehotboxgallery.com/services/content-strategy/) and the same for all the other services.
    I’m using the shortcode
    [posts_grid type="portfolio" category="content-strategy" columns="4" rows="4" order_by="date" order="DESC" meta="no" isdate="yes" excerpt_count="12" link="yes" link_text="Read More"]
    As you can see, it’s spitting out the portfolio posts, but ignoring the category.
