I am currently updating my boss’s website using wordpress and he displays a list of links on his “media” page and all of his links are displayed by date in yyyy/mm/dd format. When the information displays on the page, it lists the oldest link first and I would like for it to display the newest link first. I am very new to wordpress so please be gentle with me! I really need help after searching google high and low!

Here is the text being used to make his links display on his media page … I hope this helps!

    [links name=”true” desc=”true” images=”true” rating=”false” cat=”4″]

I’d also prefer to remove the dates from the link name and be able to make wordpress refer to some date applied to the setup of the link so it looks “cleaner”. Please advise and any help is much appreciated!

The links I am trying to display in descending order are under the “In-The-News” section.

please correct me if I am wrong….
is this a normal PAGE with a content that is a list of links and some text that links that have been typed in?

    OR

is each of the news items a separate POST that is displaying on the PAGE called “in the news”

This is a normal PAGE but links that are displaying are being pulled from the LINKS list using the command posted in my first comment.
