    Hi

I’m sending an email immediately a new blog post gets published, and I’ve noticed that when the blog post is displayed in the email the image captions are not included. I’m entering the captions in the Gutenburg image block

How can I make the captions appear in the email?

    Thanks in advance

    Vik

    Hi there @harmlessvikmartin ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

noticed that when the blog post is displayed in the email the image captions are not included

So I have tested this on my test site and I noticed that captions are missing too.

HTML for emails is a bit of a complex field so I am checking this with the developers to see if it is a bug or a feature.

I will keep you posted as soon as I hear from them.

    Cheers!

    Hi again @harmlessvikmartin ????

So I have reached out to our developers as I have mentioned before and they believe that it is an issue with Gutenberg.

They will report it to WordPress team so I don’t know when/how this will be implemented.

Having said that, it would be great if you could add it as a suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com so that other users can upvote and comment on it.

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

    Cheers!
