I created a full width footer for a one pager: https://reshape-nff.de

Unfortunately, when you click on a blog post from the homepage, the footer is no longer displayed in full width. So what do I have to do to make the footer in the blog posts display full width?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @brause,

What theme are you using? Do the homepage and the post have the same layout? For the homepage I can see it looks like using a “fullwidth” layout while for the post above, I notice that it’s a bit narrower than the homepage.

Does your theme have an option to use a different layout for a specific page/post? If it does, please try to use the same layout for the post as the layout you have for the homepage.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman,

I am using theme Qi von Qode Interactive. In Elementor Header & Footer Builder configurations Template Elmentor Full Width is enabled. Theme does not offer an option to use a different layout.

    Kind regards

    Hi Herman,

I used one of these free themes: https://qodeinteractive.com/qi-theme/all-demos/ …but I don`t know which one it was.

Hi @brause, thanks for sharing the link to the theme.

I downloaded the theme and uploaded it on my dev site. I saw the same thing. The Footer created using this theme didn’t go fullwidth. However, in my case, it didn’t go fullwidth on the entire site.

Well, this behavior changed after I switched to the Method 2. Another “problem” is that the default Theme Footer shows up above the custom Footer. I removed it, by removing the Widgets added to the Footer.

Please try doing the same as I explained above and let us know if this works well for you too.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

    Hi Herman,

    thanks.

I tried to delete the Footer Widget, but i could only delete the content. Is that what you mean. I disabled the whole footer in the theme too.

But footer still didn’t go fullwidth on the site.
