How to display focus keyword?

    I would like to display the focus keyword on the frontend. What’s the code to reference it? Thanks!

    The Yoast SEO focus keyword is used to evaluate the page content and provides feedback on how to improve the content. This means the focus keyword should be in your content and thus displayed on the frontend.

    Can you elaborate on what you’re trying to accomplish with the focus keyword on the front end?

    Thanks for replying. Yes, I know. My question is not about the plugin usage. I just want to display the focus keyword in other parts of my theme template and since it already exists in Yoast SEO, I figured I could use it instead of creating a new custom field.

    The focus keyword is stored in a hidden custom field called _yoast_wpseo_focuskw.
