    Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it would be possible to pull X words from the jobs description and show them in the listing? So there would be a short description under the job title on the listing page.

    Hi @laprek !

It can be done but you will need to override the default listing template.
Please check out our documentation about template overrides here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/template-overrides/

    Hi @bindlegirl !

    Thank you!

So now I know how to override templates but which one should I override in this case?
I’m sorry but I’m not good with editing php files. Would you mind to advice me what code should I use and where to insert it ? I would be very very grateful.

I can’t help with custom code but I’ll try to point you in the right direction.

The template you need to edit is the content-job_listing.php.

You can look into using the_excerpt() function to get the content. I haven’t tried using the function but I expect it should work ??

If you get stuck with editing files, you could look into hiring someone to create the code for you.
