    Hello,

Yes, we have a known issue with the plugin: the template needs to be assigned to a top-level page (meaning, not a subpage assigned to a parent). It will be dealt with in a future version, but we don’t have any ETA at this point.

In the meantime, making the events page a normal, top-level page (eg. zeroguess.net/events/, regardless of where you have it in your menus) will get you going.

Hi mehaksethi, did this workaround work for you?

    Hi

We have created Events page as parent but links still not working, we have have hide those links now.

    Thanks

With it as a top-level page now, go to Settings > Permalinks and hit save (you don’t need to change anything). This will flush the rewrite rules (that do the magic for the details and organizer/venue pages). Then you should be good.

Hi mehaksethi, are you still having issues?

    Hi

Thanks for your previous response; however that didn’t work.

However now after putting the site on production, we are now facing a new issue.

We are not able to see our Events in the production site.
We have already created new APP with new API key and client key; still it didn’t show.

The Event is already in publish Mode.

    Please suggest.

    Hi mehaksethi,

Do you get this problem with the default theme? Do you get any errors in your PHP error log?

And to be sure again, have you disconnected and reconnected to flush the cache if events were changed after originally connecting? If not, you could have empty event results cached.

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.
Yes its working after deleting connection and again creating a new connection.

Please suggest if every time we have to create a new connection after putting or editing any Event in the Event brite!!.

Do you think its correct that every time/whenever we create new Event in Events brite we have to delete connection and recreate to populate events on our events page.

    Please suggest.

    Hi mehaksethi,

No, it’s not ideal. We’re working on a future version that could a) provide a simpler UI to force a refresh, and/or b) support webhooks, so that eventbrite.com informs the WordPress site when something has changed, and the plugin automatically purges the cache. Resources are limited though, so we have no idea of an ETA; a few other things have to happen in the plugin for this to go forward.

You can also shorten the cache to whatever time period you’re willing to wait for the cache to purge normally. The eventbrite_cache_expiry can be used (you can even turn it off this way if you prefer), or there’s this plugin to change the cache from the default 24 hours to just one hour.

    Same problem here.
The eventbrite page is at my top level, and only 1 of the 3 links created at the top menu are working. I guess these are “webhooks”?

The Venue name is a link and it only loops back to the same page instead of going to Google maps for directions (as it does in Eventbrite), and Organizers link (which should bring up a contact us form) doesn’t work, it too loops back to this same page.

But, the “details” link actually brings up the details.

Any idea how I can get this to work properly?
    I’m using WordPress 4.3.1

PS: I did install the one hour cache plugin and it still isn’t working.
Not sure what you mean by disconnect and reconnect to Eventbrite.
