How to display each individual post

On my current blog, I’ve got three posts and two categores. For the category that has two posts, I noticed that there is no menu option which shows links to both posts – instead, one needs to scroll down to read the other post.

Is there a way to display a menu on the sidebar, which links to each individual post?

Also, at the top of each post, it says “Archive for the ‘Category Name’ Category”

Is there a way to remove the “archive” part? The blog is only a few days old.
