How to display category description on category page?

    Hi,

    I have written a category description for this category page, but it is not getting displayed on the category page.

    I was trying this fix, but it looks like the category.php path has been changed in new WordPress 6.2.

    Is there any shortcode that I can just paste it on category page to show the description to the users.

    Or any other way to do this?

    Please help.

    I’m sorry for the delay in hearing from us. Displaying the category description on the front end is not a Yoast SEO feature but that of your theme.

    However, the description you have entered in the plugin for the category shows up in the page source, and also in search results:

    <meta name="description" content="All things pertaining to (including itineraries, tavel guides, travel experiences, road trips, people and culture) of the Spiti valley." />

    Please reach out to your theme developer on outputting the description in the frontend
