How to display an excerpt of an event when I click the WP calender?

Great, I have that part figured out. Now where is the answer about displaying a summary of the event along with the thumbnail of the featured image. Sorry I’m such a dunce, but am trying to learn.

You’ll need to use #_EVENTEXCERPT in “Single event page format” under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events.
