I want to display all the posts from a custom post type that I created using the plugin Custom Post Type UI on a page. Is there a shortcode available for this? Also, I’m looking for a blog widget that supports displaying these posts in a grid view on a page. I’d like to know if the page supports a sidebar as well.

    Hi @athirakalesh

Have you considered making use of the archive feature for the post type? For example if you had a post type of “foods”, you could set “has archive” to true and then when you visit say https://mywebsite.com/foods/ it’d show all the posts in that post type similar to how you would go and read blog posts. No special page needed, just need to make sure the type has an archive set up.

Regarding a widget, that one may depend on either a native WordPress widget, or if you’re using a page builder like Elementor or similar, it’d depend on what’s available to those. We don’t have anything provided by CPTUI itself. Also if you’re using a page builder, then I believe many of the popular ones have widgets/modules that can be used to create post type archives, negating my first comment above. Check the appropriate documentation for the builder used, on how to potentially do that.

Hope that helps, but feel free to let us know where we weren’t quite right and we can provide some more ideas.
